Sometimes we buy the most expensive acne cleansers but do not use them well, use that cleanser if you want to fight your acne and succeed.
For best results, wash your face twice, morning and evening, to thoroughly remove dirt, cleanse and deliver acne-fighting ingredients to your skin.
If you feel you can`t do it twice a day, make sure to remove your makeup every day before bed, the dust, dirt, and sweat do your face no good if you make it a habit of sleeping with your face unwashed.

    • Im glad you found the article useful, acne-prone skin in teens is common due to the excess oil teens skin produce but with good skincare products, this should not be an issue.

  1. Thank you for sharing this great piece. I’ve been battling with acne myself, and always struggled to find the right remedies. I will look out for the ingredients next time I’m buying an acne product.

  2. As an esthetician – I hate brushes with nylon needles, silicone ones are way better, but they shouldn’t be used on daily basis, they are more like an exfoliation of the skin than cleansing. I’m unlucky since my skin hates Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid, but Skin Ceuticals LHA Cleansing Gel is a great choice! My skin loves LHA. With acne prone skin it’s also good to check if cleanser has pH around 5,5 – pH above 6 is only helps bacteria P.Acnes to grow and cause more acne 🙁

    • Thanks, Mina, many of us do settle for nylon brushes thinking they are cheap but honestly they are not, a silicon facial brush lasts much longer and gives better long-term results, and are a good investment for anyone serious about facial cleansing.
