  1. Thanks for the information! I always wondered (without having time to look it up) what exactly is involved in microdermabrasion. This is really helpful. I have done chemical peels in the past, but it didn’t work for me. Well, I had to relocate, so I had maybe 4-5 treatments. I didn’t see that much of a difference after those treatments and they hurt 🙁 (burned). I’m definitely considering microdermabrasion. Is there a big difference having one done at a spa vs. home?

    • The Beauty Doctors says:

Hello Norma,at home microdermabrasion is same like the one you`ll have done at the spa,the difference really is the cost.

  2. I have a derma roller which has 1mm needles, I really do not understand how to use it. Although this post was about microdermabrasion but I think both of them are closely related.
Is it safe to use the derma roller that I own on my face? If yes, how do you use it and how often?

    • The Beauty Doctors says:

I have never used a derma roller because im not comfortable having needles on my face.Sorry I could not give you a better answer
